Mandy is a champion of ongoing agency and people development at brookscomm and is a keen producer of concise and targeted business words and messaging for digital, traditional and social media.

Chaz Brooks

A talented communications professional, Chaz is involved in both creative direction and hands-on work with journalists for brookscomm clients as well as advising clients on how a strategic PR campaign will build their profile, reputation and support their business objectives.

Chaz has vast experience of PR and marketing, and was previously Marketing Manager for several well known companies including Canon UK.

He is also a past President of the Surrey Chambers of Commerce.

Carys Waters

Project Leader

Carys is a communications expert with nearly a decade of experience in PR. After working with us when she first graduated from university, she’s now returned to the brookscomm team to take a lead in team management and resourcing, coordinating and planning effective integrated campaigns, and helping to develop the business as a whole.

Carys brings a wealth of client management expertise to brookscomm, as well as solid understanding of efficient processes, approaches and tactics to ensure smooth agency operations.

Lucy Donald

Head of Communications

Lucy brings a wealth of senior-leadership experience to the brookscomm team, with significant knowledge and expertise built from her diverse career in the communications industry.

Specialising in optimised, strategic and integrated campaigns which utilise the full marketing mix, Lucy is committed to delivering the most effective and positive results which support client objectives, engage the target audience and maximise value-add.

Past experience includes work both agency-side and in-house, across a variety of sectors, including technology, entertainment, finance and charity, on corporate and consumer campaigns.

Joanne McKenzie

Operations & HR Manager

Jo is responsible for co-ordinating and facilitating the team in HR matters, operations, accounting and administration.

Alongside her qualifications in CIPD & ACIPR,  Jo brings a wealth of experience from working within the financial investment banking world and ensures the office and team runs smoothly.

Alison Scarrott

Alison’s greatest strengths lie in her exceptional skills in “selling in” your company’s opinion articles, press materials and comments to your key journalists and publications.

Alison has brought to brookscomm a wealth of knowledge, skills and experience having worked for one of Europe’s leading business magazine publishing houses, and for a PR agency specialising in technology clients, in the oil and gas industry, software, process control and automation industries.

Recently, Alison has been involved in supporting brookscomm clients at trade events and organising industry dinners, forums and award ceremonies, in addition to managing several PR accounts.

Michael Bull

Head of Digital Marketing

Michael is responsible for the planning and implementation of digital marketing strategies for brookscomm and its clients.

Michael has worked in marketing for over 20 years and is a long standing committee member of the Surrey Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM).

He has diplomas in professional marketing and digital marketing and his skillset includes: SEO, PPC, HTML, CSS, Social Media Marketing, Google Adwords and Google Analytics, WordPress, Marketo, Drupal, Hubspot, Mailchimp and Amazon Marketing Services.

Aaron Jackson

Junior PR Executive

Aaron is a student at the University of Surrey and is working towards a BA(hons) in Media Studies with Film Studies. He is currently fulfilling his placement year requirement of his degree at brookscomm.

Aaron is providing PR, social media and digital marketing support across brookscomm clients. Through his work at brookscomm, Aaron is learning the fundamentals of the PR and Marketing industry in a professional and established environment.

Externally, Aaron plies his craft in music journalism as the editor of www.wavebyte.co.uk and hopes to transfer these skills into his life at brookscomm.

Harry Smith

Junior Digital Marketing Executive

Harry is currently in his final year of studies for a business and finance degree at Bournemouth University. He provides digital marketing support to brookscomm and its clients.

Harry is benefiting from applying the principles of his studies within the modern workplace.

Anna Samuel

Anna is a professional, qualified accountant, contracted by brookscomm to manage and co-ordinate bookkeeping.

With Anna’s many years of experience she is able to effortlessly facilitate CBC’s purchase ledger and payments, sales ledger, credit control, VAT returns and annual accounts to ensure the smooth running of financial matters.
